ABOUT Hambos Pups
Hambos Pups est. in 2021 by Danielle, in the hight of the pandemic. While stuck at home with a very new and nervous rescue pup she had a lot of time on her hands and one singular mission: crafting a “tough enough” dog toy for her anxious pup, Pocket. Armed with only a leather hole puncher and a substantial piece of scrap leather, Danielle sought guidance from YouTube tutorials. With some creativity, she fashioned a pizza slice-shaped squeaky toy that proved resilient enough to entertain Pocket for an entire afternoon.
You could say she got inspired, or you could say, she got obsessed. From there, it was all about making products that were above the subpar items at the pet store. From toys to leashes and collars. Danielle was thrilled to focus her energy towards bringing people together with their pups.
“I wanted to create dog products that you almost never have to think about because they work so well. The last thing I want to think about when I’m playing or working with my dog is- I wish this leash wasn’t so gross or I hope this doesn’t break!”
