Yes. The webbing is rated to 825 lb, every load point is bartacked, and it uses the same auto-locking carabiner as the rest of our leashes. Keep a line this long for training and open spaces rather than city sidewalks, since that much line is hard to manage in tight quarters.

Completely. The fibers are sealed inside the coating, so nothing soaks in. It won't absorb water or hold smell, and mud rinses right off, which matters on a line this long that spends a lot of time on the ground.

Wipe it with a damp cloth, or rinse it under a tap. A little dish soap and warm water if things get really mucked up, which happens fast with a line that drags on the ground. Do not oil or condition, as this can break down the coating.
