Daily walks · CitySmall to medium dogs
Best for dogs that don't need much line. Five feet handles easily in one hand, with no extra slack to gather.
Small–medium dogsGrab and go

By the door · In the carOver-built on purpose.
We tested these parts until something broke, then chose or built the versions that didn't. Nothing here is decorative. All of it is sewn by hand in our Seattle shop.
*825 lb refers to Biothane webbing break strength, not the assembled product.
See the materialsThe questions we actually get.
Is 5 ft the right length for me?
Five feet is a classic everyday length for neighborhood walks with a small to medium dog. If you want a second handle for close control near traffic, the 6 ft Mid-Grip is our everyday bestseller. For keeping your dog tight at your side on busy sidewalks, look at the 4 ft. And if you want one leash you can hold, wear crossbody, or clip around your waist, see the Hands Free 3 in 1.
Which color should I get?
Water Moss is our bestseller and the safe call if you're stuck. Coal is understated and fashionable, Hunter Orange is the most visible in the woods. Your dog will get extra pets in Max Pink and will look all grown up in Toast.
Is it okay for a big or strong dog?
Yes. The webbing is rated to 825 lb and every load point is bartacked. For a dog that really pulls, most people do better with the Hands Free in the belt set-up, where you brace with your whole body instead of your hand.
Is it really waterproof?
Completely. The fibers are sealed inside the coating, so nothing soaks in. It won't absorb water or hold smell, and mud rinses right off.
Can my dog chew through it?
It's tough, but no leash is chew-proof and we won't claim otherwise. Don't leave it alone with a bored chewer. If you've had a chewing accident, see our Accident Replacement Program.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a damp cloth, or rinse it under a tap. A little dish soap and warm water if things get really mucked up. Do not oil or condition, as this can break down the coating.
Can I return it if it's not right?
Yes. Unused gear can come back within 30 days. You cover the return shipping, and there's a 20% restocking fee. Used gear we can't take back, because we can't resell it.
How fast does it ship?
Every leash is sewn by hand in our Seattle shop. In-stock orders leave within 3–5 business days, and most go out same or next day. Free shipping over $50 in the lower 48.
For when things happen out there.
Chewed through, shut in a car door, crushed in a tailgate. Dogs are hard on gear. If yours is damaged beyond saving, send us a photo and we'll take 40% off a replacement. We can't cover lost gear. We have to see the damage to replace it.
